slightly more refined idea no. 3

*outline is on sketch paper

The main point of this one is to figure out how much of the movie I could NOT show and still get a story across. I wanted to focus on the idea of fragmented memories as a means of measuring time. the amount of footage shown will not equal the amount of time passed in the movie. I think this one is my favorite, it's the most interesting to me.

  1. I find this idea the most interesting as well. As a finished film I think it would keep the viewer's attention longer than the idea of radically short memories repeating themselves, although I think you can incorporate the more abstract approach also.

  2. This idea does seem to me to be the strongest, and most thought out. I like the idea of the party... the arriving and leaving, and even the bit of conflict in the form of an argument. And i agree that showing bits of scenes to document the passage of time could be a very effective one. I say think about exactly what you want to show, and what will communicate what you want.
